Family Photos
Last week I booked my birthday present, we are getting professional family photos taken. I found Eaton Photography advertising in Sydney Child. We are having photos taken at Oatley Park in March. Michelle and Troy had their professional wedding photos taken there in July 09, it is a stunning park with ample photo opportunities. In the meantime I will continue to take photos of the girls. Here are some favourites that I have taken this week. I love capturing the 'sisterly' moments when Sophie is affection towards Natalie. I also love the unconventional photo of Sophie, I love the angle and how captivating her eyes are.

It was a shame about Sophie's fat lip and ice-block stained clothing :)
aww,so beautiful,i love my girls:)
you should be a photographer! i LOVE the photos! Great angles and great lighting!! I'm impressed :) I harbour a secret desire to be a photographer...lol maybe in my next life. Can't wait to see the family photos...
I have my eye on this photographer for some family photos at the beginning of next year in our new house (she has photographed my friends and the photos were stunning): http://kellyvellaphotography.com.au/blog
I use to be passionate about photography when I was a teenager. I had an 35mm SLR camera and won an award in Year 11. My SLR camera was stolen in 2002 and I never replaced it. I was just telling Steve this week I desperately want to save for a digital SLR, there is only so much you can do with a compact and bridging camera! The Kelly Vella photography looks great!
I never knew this about you! I have a digital SLR (which was expensive at the time I bought it - before I had Thomas). I bought it with the intention of learning how to use it manually but 4 and a half years later I'm still using auto settings on it :( really need to sit down and play with it! altho now i have to put it in for repairs...spring has gone on flash and will cost me about $160 to fix :(
p.s. i wish they had offered photography when i was at school (i'm obviously old) - I definitely would have chosen it as an elective!
Oh Cathy! get off the auto settings :) you will be amazed at what you can do manually! Just play around. I think if I get one it will take me a little while to remember everything. Get it repaired asap :)My dad was a professional photographer - weddings, commercial and portraits, he had a printing lab in Ingleburn for about 12 years. Lucky he got out before digital became big.
I'll be happy to TRY and help you with it.
